Timothy F. Anderson, President
For the last twenty-four months, Tim has been tracking the progress of the Green Energy Act and the subsequent Ontario Power Authority Feed in Tariff program. He has established an affiliate relationship with DTZ Barnicke Niagara, a leading industrial and commercial real estate firm, whereby DTZ Barnicke Niagara will exclusively offer SunOne Energy Solar Services to all its clients throughout the Province. In total Anderson has established 12 affiliates throughout the Province that are assisting with deal procurement in markets such as Stoney Creek, St. Catharines. Oshawa, London, Windsor, Waterloo, Kitchener and Guelph.
As an accomplished real estate executive, Anderson was directly responsible for the development, design, finance and entitlement of over 1000 units of student and conventional apartments in markets throughout the United States. Prior to Anderson Student Housing, he worked for Fairfield Residential-Dallas and Ambling Development Company, as development/design team leader. Here, he provided creative finance and development solutions for over 4400 beds of student housing for universities in San Diego, California, College Park, Maryland and Boulder, Colorado. Prior to that, Anderson operated a regional real estate brokerage firm specializing the acquisition of hotels, shopping centers, apartment complexes and office buildings. Appointed by Governor Sundquist, Anderson served on the Tennessee State Board of Equalization regulating fair implementation of regional government personal and property taxes throughout the state of Tennessee.
Mark Bell, Director
Mr. Bell has joined the SunOne Energy advisory team to bring his knowledge of the Ontario electricity markets and corporate financing background to the company’s exciting growth opportunity in Canada. Mr. Bell currently the President of Mattawa Renewable Power Corporation, a developer of small-scale renewable energy projects in Ontario. Mr. Bell also is the EVP, Development, for Windstream Energy Inc., a utility-scale wind energy development company with a 2,500 MW development pipeline with projects in B.C, western USA and Ontario. Prior to these positions, Mr. Bell was responsible for Invenergy Canada's wind energy development activities in Canada. Invenergy’s Canadian project pipeline was built to 3 GW under Mr. Bell’s direction, with projects in every Canadian province except Newfoundland. A notable success of this portfolio was the Hydro Quebec award to the 140 MW Le Plateau wind energy project in Matapedia, Quebec. After obtaining his MBA, Mr. Bell worked in natural resource banking in Calgary, Toronto and London England. Mr. Bell then embarked on an industrial career, sponsoring a large recycling company in France now employing over 100 persons. Prior to returning to Canada, Mr. Bell worked in London England with a private European wind energy developer. Mr. Bell returned to Canada to take advantage of the country’s developing market for alternative energy generation. Prior to joining Invenergy, Mr. Bell started Petawawa Renewable Power Corporation, and was responsible for development of 200 MW of wind project assets in south-west Ontario. These assets were sold to Invenergy Canada. One of Petawawa’s project footprints was bid by Invenergy into Ontario’s RES III competition, resulting in the successful 78 MW Raleigh Wind Energy Centre project.
